SunCoast has secured the rights to own and operate a CO2 Pipeline Project, referred to as “Project” from Enhanced Oil Resources, Inc. (See the recent press release in the News section) The proposed pipeline will run 400 miles from EOR, Inc.’s St. Johns Helium/CO2 field located on the border of Arizona and New Mexico, to the Permian Basin of New Mexico and West Texas. The proposed pipeline will initially transport 350 million cubic feet per day (MMcfpd) of CO2 for injection into depleted oil fields located within the Permian Basin. The pipeline is expected to be designed to transport up to 500 MMcfpd once expanded to full capacity.
SunCoast has joined forces with Estrella Energy, LP as our partner to fully develop the Pipeline Project. For information about Estrella Energy, please refer to “Management Team” drop down window. Some major milestones for the project still remain, but should be resolved during the early stages of the Project. The pipeline will connect a new indigenous supply source of CO2 to enhanced oil recovery projects located in the Permian Basin, resulting in improvements in oil recovery efficiency thus increasing domestic oil production. We are confident the pipeline project will be supported by the producer community in the Permian Basin and look forward to obtaining firm capacity commitments sufficient to support the pipeline project.
SunCoast is interested in pursuing other financially attractive business opportunities that adds value to our shareholders. We encourage individuals or companies to contact SunCoast (see Contact Us button) regarding prospects, opportunities or joint ventures that are mutually beneficial to both parties.
